**Purchasing a Kenny G Soprano Saxophone in no way guarantees you will sound like Kenny G. Each saxophonist has an original tone that they produce. The only way to sound like Kenny is to practice. Having the same instrument design as the one Kenny plays will give you a better chance but again it will not guarantee you will sound like Kenny.
My main reason for making the “E-Series III” alto & Soprano Saxophones is to change the Vintage Dark Gold Lacquer to a Clear Lacquer. The New “E-Series II” saxophones are far better in every way than the original E-Series saxophones. The Vintage Dark Gold Lacquer was not received in the rest of the world as well as it was in the US. Other countries do not really understand the word Vintage. So to have a worldwide marketable product I changed the Vintage Lacquer to Clear Lacquer. It is just that simple. The body or bore of the instruments is the same, the key positions are the same with only a couple adjustments for the better, these saxophones provide the same great sound you have grown to expect from the Kenny G Saxophones.
The NEW “E-Series III” Alto Saxophone has several new features.
The KGEASL-III Features:
A NEW Clear Lacquer.
NEWLY Designed Harmonic Key for easier access.
Improved High F-Sharp Key – In the traditional design like the Selmer Mark VI Kenny plays himself.
